For the TV stations, it has been years since I tuned in to RTM1, RTM2, TV3 etc, I rather spend my time productively watching Discovery Channel or National Geographic.
Can you imagine even on the eve of Merdeka Day when everyone should be tuning in to see what our PM has to say, I was watching other channels on Astro to amuse and entertain myself.
In the past, for many years, I noticed that whenever the PM addresses the citizens, he would say, "Agama kita", "Bahasa kita" or "Bangsa kita".

Malaysia can create the best system in the universe but if we have a corrupt and racist operator managing the Malaysia dilemmatic system, what do you expect the outputs of this corrupt and racist dilemmatic system?

If the Malaysia quality system is to work efficiently, harmoniously, peacefully and prosperously, all the components got to link together and work diligently and efficiently. Then the Malaysia system will produce quality production!

And now the boycotting has been made easier with the online version of newspapers. At least I won't be forking out money to buy those imbalance news reporting paper.
So do TV3 news; I just watched the main headlines only. I will never sit in front watching TV3 Buletin Utama till end. I don't want my mind being poisoned.
I prefer to surf the web for more accurate reporting.
Of the 3 mainstream English outlets, I think is referring to "The Sun" which is more balanced in reporting. The other 2 are purely BN official magazine.
No matter how the mainstream media criticize the government, they always leave a backdoor for themselves. They need the government to renew their printing license every year.
This made the media favored the government's policy indirectly. The TV stations are now all controlled by the government. Wa FM is gone, Ai FM is part of RTM, 988 is controlled by MCA.
Not much different voices left in the air. The only alternative is here - the Internet!
Though the media freedom in Malaysia is lesser and lesser, I still read newspaper. It is a habit, what to do?
For the TV stations, it has been years since I tuned in to RTM1, RTM2, TV3 etc, I rather spend my time productively watching Discovery Channel or National Geographic.
Can you imagine even on the eve of Merdeka Day when everyone should be tuning in to see what our PM has to say, I was watching other channels on Astro to amuse and entertain myself.
In the past, for many years, I noticed that whenever the PM addresses the citizens, he would say, "Agama kita", "Bahasa kita" or "Bangsa kita".
Who do you think he was addressing the message to? If I as a Malaysian is not included in his message, why should I listen anyway?
I was there when the late Tunku declared independence at the Merdeka Stadium and every year since, Merdeka Day was something special to me, but now sad to say, no more and the reason, as mentioned above.
Another dark day in the 2006 year for Malaysia media, newspaper is only good to report accidents, murder, robbery cases and not forgetting some business news and cartoons, and not for exposing scandals and justice purpose.

wooiii..aku ni dulu awal taun 2000' sampai taun 2004'taksub gila dgn PKR nie..siap ada jwtan lg dipringkat cawangan je , wlau mcm mane pun aku folow habis-habisan ade je demonstrasi ade lah aku dan geng2 yg lain sangup kuar duit poket sndiri utk gi sane cni...lps 4 taun aku ikut je aku dah mula nmpak yg perjuangan PKR ni sebenarnya hanya lah utk merealisasikan objektif busuk ANUAR dgn mempergunakan semangat org melayu demi kepentingan politik kotor mamat bahalol ni...kenapa aku pikir mcm tu..korang tau tak dlm setiap ceramah tak de nye pekara yg baik sume nye kutuk sane kutuk cni baik PAS mahupun PKR blm ceramah siap doa2 dlu tu pastu kutuk sana cni ajaran mana tu DAP ke?..bila aku pikir2 balik diaorg sume nye same je tak leh pakai sekupang pun kalu dah pandai sgt kenapa tak satu kan je MELAYU2 yg keliru ni dgn cara yg lebih berhemah guna kan pendekatan yg lebih halus atau lembut tak perlu nak ckp org ni tak betul ,org tu tak betul lama kelamaan bosan gak mcm tak de modal..akhir nye aku dan geng2 ni mula backoff ckit2 sebab dah mula pikir yg sume ni hanya lah karut belaka , aku dan geng2 pun bkn nye sekolah sampai spm je lame kelamaan tau gak nak menilai yg mana baik dan buruk nye...tambahan plak bila diaorg ni buat kputusan utk berkrjasama lak dgn DAP lagi lah buat aku nampak karut marut dari apa yg dirancang dah jauh terpesong...mcm tu gak dgn PAS yg terkenal dah turun temurun dok kutuk UMNO pasal berkrjasama dgn kafir haram sana haram cni,dah mula berjinak dgn perjuangan kafir jugak apa beza nye same je tak de prinsip jugak...Tuiiiiiiih!! korang yg baru dua tiga hari nak kenal PAKATAN ni lupa kan lah hasrat bodoh tu..bkn apa setengah dr korang ni kekadang menilai dan teransang dkt kedai kopi je...ckp nak perjuang itu ini demi agama dan bangsa tp kalu dibagi habuan yg kena dgn selera korang memang confirm sapu je tp bila tak dapat buat keputusan keluar lps tu lawan blik pi raaahh..woii tak yah lah nak belagak hero jln kan tgungjwb korang dgn tuhan dan kedua ibubapak dlu lah biar sempurna...jgn ingat smpan jangut je dah blh berjuang..tp tgk bontot pompuan tak kira anak bini org lain terbeliak juga mata org pas.. dan korang tau tak aku penah join pengikut setia PAS yg brjangut lah ni tp hampeh pecah lubang kaki judi jugak cam ni ke nak cite pasal HUDUD blahhh lah woiiii ..
aku sokong sgt lah pasal komen mamat kat atas ni..memang pakatan rakyat bangang2 sume nye..tak tau nak bersyukur lansung , yg diaorg tau kutuk sane-sini je dan guling atas jalan yg guling2 tu pulak sume nye janggut panjang tak nampak pun yg mata sepet2 hahaha..memang omong kosong harap masing2 bini je lebih tah catu mkn minum pe ke huhuhu..pas,pkr dan Dap tak de mase depan lah..sume nye tak sekolah , kalu sekolah pun tak abis kot..
